About Potter Home Services

I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and helping the people around me — whether that’s fixing something around the house, working on a car, or taking care of yard projects. There’s a real satisfaction in seeing something that isn’t working quite right and taking the time to make it better.

Over the years, friends and family kept asking for help with the same kinds of things most homeowners run into: small repairs, installations, and projects that matter, but don’t always justify calling a large company or dealing with a complicated process. These were the everyday tasks that made a home function better, but often ended up getting delayed or ignored because finding the right help felt like more trouble than it was worth.

Potter Home Services grew out of that experience and a desire to offer something simpler. The focus is on honest help, clear communication, and straightforward pricing — without upselling, pressure, or unnecessary complexity. I believe homeowners should feel comfortable asking questions, understand what’s being done in their home, and know what to expect before any work begins.

My approach is shaped by a background that values preparation, accountability, and showing up when people need help — without making a big deal about it. I take pride in being reliable, respectful of people’s time, and attentive to the details that make the difference between a job that’s just finished and one that’s done right.

When I’m working in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would expect in my own. That means listening first, working carefully, and leaving the space clean and in good shape when the job is complete. The goal is for the experience to feel straightforward and positive — like having a capable, trusted person help take care of your home.
